The Sea Shepherd pirates of the seven seas

Just lately on the mass media big screams I have been watching the sea shepherd and the other ship with it, rushing about the pacific ocean like ye olde pirates of yesteryear when peter pan and captain Idaho flew ye olde skull and cross bones upon the rafters and yelled “Ahoy Matey” to each other as they plundered and pillaged the seven seas.

What a waste of immense amounts of money by the vegetarian people who give such huge donations to fund the adventures of activists who don’t appear to realize that the pacific ocean is the bread basket of many nations who have got together to agree to a reasonable quota for each nation to cull/fish the whales and the dolphins and the sea urchins and rock lobsters and crayfish and other lucrative profit making kinds of fishing that make a few mega rich companies/people enough profit to buy huge pirate ships that can harass and chase other fishing vessels across the high seas.

Surely there is a more constructive way to bring the greedy over fishers to book who want more profit than the next?

Surely it would be more constructive to find a less excitingly dangerous and adventurous and very expensive charitable contribution kind of solution to monitor the lucrative fishing areas of our oceans in order to police this resource for the future generations to enjoy as well?

The end result of this kind of childhood fantasy adventure of “protecting whales from being culled by Japan and not protecting them from being culled by any other nation” is not well thought out at all by the huge charitable organizations that fund them?

Or is it?
